Okay, so a few things have changed since 1985….

Leaving our studio in 2020, we went completely mobile. We packed Pottery 2Go kits to sell at farmers markets, online and did plenty of pop-ups over the last five years.

We are changing again. Focusing on larger groups and pop-up painting events, allows us to keep our prices lower. That means more people can have pottery painting fun, team build and yes, make memories.

What’s a large group?

We pack up Pottery 2Go kits including pottery, glazes (your colors to paint with), instructions plus fire the painted pottery for up to 15 people for a minimum of $300. That could be $20 spoon rests for 15 people or $50 platters for 6 people. See our Shop page for what is currently available. Please start the process at least 30 days ahead if we need to order pottery for you!

If you want us to facilitate the painting, the price is a minimum of $400. Brushes are included at this price.

Are you a tax exempt group?

Terrific! We work with the Fairfax County Public Library system, Fairfax County schools, several religious organizations plus other non-profits on a regular schedule. Instead of ordering online, we send you an invoice reflecting your tax exempt status for your event.

Only want to paint one thing?

Little foot or hand prints before they get too big, a keepsake ornament for the year or something special for a parent are our favorite memory makers!

There are a couple of ways to make that happen for you. You can catch up at a pop up event. See the calendar page to see where we will be. You can get a group of friends or family together to meet the minimum pricing. You could speak to your PTA or the person in charge of youth events for the groups you belong to and ask them to reach out to us.

For that matter, children don’t have to be involved either as stamps (feet, hands) or painters. You can arrange for your club or organization to host a pottery painting event.

How about fundraisers?

Yes, we do those too! Volunteer Fire Depts., PTA/PTO organizations, dance and sports teams, animal rescues and many other non-profits have had fun painting while raising money for their organization.

We can sell pottery through our site or you can sell it though yours. However, for us to consider it a fundraiser a minimum of $500 in sales must be reached.

School organizations can also order pottery to paint at a reduced price with the intention to raffle as a fundraiser.
